Help & Support

Stuck, found a bug or want to suggest something? Email hello@playyup.com. A real person reads every message. Tell us the phone you use and what you were doing, and add a screenshot if you can.
1. Signing in
Sign in with Google, or with your email: we send a 6-digit code and you type it in. There is no password to remember.
- No code? Check your spam or promotions folder, make sure the email address is spelled right, then ask for a new code.
- Use the same method every time so you land on the same account.
2. Your phone number
You add your number when you set up your profile. Captains add players to a squad by number, so this is how your spots link to you when you join. It is never shown to other players.
One number belongs to one account. If the app says your number is already on another Playyup account, email us from the address you sign in with and we’ll sort it out.
3. Teams and challenges
- Create a team, pick the sport, and add teammates by name and number. They join your squad when they get the app.
- To play, open Challenge: choose your team, an opponent, a ground and a time, then send it. Their captain accepts or declines.
- Every match has its own chat, so both sides can sort out the details.
4. Your location
Playyup uses the spot you choose (or your GPS, if you allow it) to show teams and games near you. It isn’t tracked in the background, and other players only ever see the name of your area.
5. Reporting and blocking
Press and hold a chat message, or open a player’s photo, to report it or block them. You won’t see messages from players you block. We review every report, and remove content or accounts that break our Terms.
6. Deleting your account
Open the menu in the app and tap Delete account. It happens straight away. What gets deleted, and how to do it without the app, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
