Terms of Service
Last updated 23 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Playyup — the app and the website at playyup.app — where players build squads, challenge teams nearby, organise matches and track results. By creating an account or using Playyup you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Playyup.
1. Your account
You need to be at least 16 to use Playyup. You sign in with Google or a one-time code sent to your email; there is no password.
- Use your real name and a photo of yourself — your player card is how teams recognise you.
- One account per person. Don’t sign up as someone else or on someone else’s behalf.
- Keep access to your email or Google account safe. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
2. Teams, matches and results
Captains create teams and add players by phone number. Teams challenge each other, and the other captain accepts or declines. Playyup helps you arrange games — it doesn’t organise, supervise or referee them.
- Only add people to a squad who know you’re adding them.
- Turn up to matches you accept, or cancel in the app as early as you can.
- Enter scores honestly. In ranked matches the other captain confirms the result before tier points move; either side can dispute it. We may correct or remove results, ratings or ranks that look false or abusive.
3. How we expect you to behave
Playyup works because players trust each other. Don’t:
- harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against anyone, in chat or on the pitch;
- post photos or messages that are sexual, violent, hateful, or someone else’s private information;
- spam, advertise, or use Playyup to sell anything without our permission;
- create fake teams, matches or results, or try to game the ranking;
- scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or break the service or its security.
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
4. Playing safely
Sport carries a risk of injury. You take part in any match at your own risk and are responsible for being fit to play, for your own equipment, and for following the rules of the venue.
Venues are run by third parties. Bookings, fees and venue rules are between you and the venue. Meet in public places, and tell someone where you’re going when you play with people you haven’t met.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you add — your photo, team names and crests, and messages. You give Playyup permission to store and show it to other players as needed to run the service (for example on your player card, team page and match chat). Only upload things you have the right to share.
6. The service
Playyup is free to use today. We’re improving it constantly, so features may change, and we may add paid features in future — we’ll always tell you before you pay for anything.
Playyup is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, or that other players will behave as they say they will.
7. Liability
As far as the law allows, Playyup isn’t liable for injuries, losses or disputes arising from matches, venues or other players, or for indirect losses of any kind. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited.
8. Leaving Playyup
You can stop using Playyup at any time. To delete your account and data, email hello@playyup.com from the address you sign in with. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless we’re legally unable to.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; if a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes go to the courts of Lahore.
